Viewing art "on-line" can never take the place of enjoying a painting or sculpture "up close and personal" at a gallery. However, you can't beat the convenience of shopping on your computer in the comfort of your own home. Why shouldn't buying art on-line work the same way? As a consumer myself, I am not only concerned about the security of my purchase but also the ultimate satisfaction with the product I receive. Like you, I want my purchases kept confidential and I want the goods I get to be "as advertised" and in perfect condition.  That is why I offer a number of methods for payment, a reliable and reasonable assurance of safe and on-time shipment, and my pledge to meet your expectations of a satisfactory transaction.

Original Artwork:

If you wish to buy an original painting, you are encouraged to arrange a viewing of  the painting in person. Contact me at Creative Designs of Blowing Rock if you wish to arrange a viewing. If viewing the painting in person is not possible, I would be happy to e-mail you a high-resolution digital image to help with your purchase decision. I am also willing to send you any two detailed views you might like. When you purchase an original painting, I will ship and insure the original upon receipt of full payment plus shipping and sales tax (if applicable). You will have two weeks to view and inspect the artwork from the date it is received. If you decide for any reason not to keep the painting, you may return it at the end of the 2-week period. Return shipping would be at your expense. Upon receipt of the painting in perfect condition I will refund your purchase amount minus my initial shipping costs.

Prints:

I will ship and insure your purchase of any Giclée print upon receipt of full payment plus shipping and sales tax (if applicable). All prints are guaranteed to be in good condition at the time of shipping. However, given the unpredictability of any shipping process I cannot guarantee that a print will arrive in perfect condition. Therefore, when you purchase a print, you agree not to hold me liable if it arrives in less than satisfactory condition, and to accept the item as-is. The carrier is responsible for any shipping damage. Do not accept delivery if you suspect the package is damaged.

Refunds will only be granted if prints have not as yet been reproduced and mailed. You will be notified if your order will take longer to ship than we estimated at the time of your confirmation notice. Although I am looking into offering direct on-line purchasing via PayPal©, this feature is not yet available on this website.
